Have you ever looked back, say, ten years ago, dreaming of the grown-up you'd become? Let's fast-forward to today. Are you living the "dream," or did reality take a little detour? For me, the unexpected twist came in the form of becoming a mom again. Night duties, endless responsibilities—because clearly, sleep is overrated and finding Heidi had to take a back seat! During those chaotic days, I found myself knee-deep in my husband's realtor-photography business. And, you know what? I was a pretty good sidekick. My role evolved into helping real estate agents unveil their genuine selves for the job, showcasing their unique personalities through our photoshoots. It was empowering, and I soaked up every moment.
The more incredible women I worked with, the more I realized the common struggle—finding their true identity within the tangled mess of roles and expectations. That's when I decided to be more than just a photographer.
